Please book early. Prime dates go quickly.
- The client must book the space through the Women's Art Association of Canada (WAAC). All requests will be reviewed and the client contacted via telephone or email.
- All catering requirements must be arranged by the client.
- A WAAC member will be present to unlock the space, ensure the participants meet the terms and conditions and lock up after the event.
- The WAAC will hold the client solely responsible for any damage occurring due to negligence on any participant's part. The client will be financially responsible for any cost to repair and/or replace any damaged fixture that exceeds normal wear and tear or is due to negligence, misuse, or violation of these terms and conditions.
- Room cleanliness and set-up must be maintained after the event. The group is required to ensure the appropriate conditions are restored; a failure to do so will result in a fine for cleaning and resetting the facility/furniture. Depending on the event, a room cleaning fee may be included in the cost of rental.
- Participants may not under any circumstance enter the undesignated areas.
- Access to the facility will only be allowed at the time designated.
- If the client wishes to drop off any items prior to the function, arrangements must be made in advance.
- All privately owned property and personal effects must be removed upon the completion of the booking time, unless prior arrangements with the WAAC have been made.
- No items or objects are to be affixed to walls without prior approval.
- 23 Prince Arthur Avenue is a smoke free facility. Smoking is permitted outdoors in accordance with local bylaws.
- Any violation of any the above mentioned may result in immediate termination of the event by the WAAC representative.
